Occupying an enviable elevated position atop a rocky rise off the much sought after Ravenspoint Road in Trearddur Bay, being just a short walk from the superb coastline and excellent 'blue flag' beaches, Heronsmere could be just what you've been looking for if your love of the sea and its associated lifestyle must be satisfied.
Sitting within spacious garden grounds and commanding far reaching views to include the sea, surrounding countryside, Holyhead mountain and Snowdonia, this sizeable detached bungalow, overlooking a small reedy lake (hence the name, Heronsmere) lies within an eclectic mix of coastal property ranging from cliff top residences, chalets, period houses and more recent tourist caravan sites. The landscape in these parts, much of the surroundings considered worthy of AONB status (Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty) is simply breath-taking and the sunsets from here will surely be spectacular!
Approached via a sweeping driveway with ample private parking, the roomy and modernised accommodation (23' lounge and 4 bedrooms) is purposely light and bright with large windows, some of which enjoy a dual aspect with all rooms enjoying a view. Attached to Heronsmere is a self-contained one bedroomed annexe which could prove ideal for a grown up teenager, elderly relative or as a simple holiday let to generate income. It could also serve as a neat studio or somewhere to run a business from.
The principal reception room offers a central focal point by way of a real flame gas fire (LPG) whilst twin glazed doors open through into a formal dining room, helping create that sense of light and space. Off the kitchen you'll be pleased to find a useful utility room and bathroom facilities/suites are modern fitments, all fully tiled.
Externally, as well as the drive and parking, Herons Mere has a sizeable detached garage which has an electrically operated roller shutter door, convenient side personnel door, a fitted Wc, power/light and a pitched roof which could prove useful for storage purposes. The gardens are primarily laid to lawn, the majority of which are sloping with a neatly arranged flowering shrubbery close to the main entrance. Also by the entrance is a patio with a part glazed boundary so you can sit back and enjoy the surroundings and sunrise at breakfast time. There is a large concreted base to the rear which could form the basis of a superb patio. Heronsmere comes fully uPVC double glazed and is served by an oil fired central heating system.
Within the grounds, there is space for a touring caravan and/or boat and potential for the inclusion of a static caravan or chalet – subject of course to planning consents and approvals.
From Heronsmere you'll have access to all the pretty little coves and hidden bays. Anyone with outdoor interests could not find better. This is a coveted sailing area and the Trearddur Bay sailing club is very highly regarded. There's plenty of opportunity for walking, cycling, sailing and other water pursuits.
The coast and beaches of Trearddur are a treasure, a haven for water sports and golf enthusiasts or perhaps the perfect location for those who wish to take life just that little bit easier by relaxing on an award winning beach.
