Waterside Properties took a day out from the office recently and went sailing – and invited along staff from Jupix and Yachtworld, the 2 companies that provide us with our estate agency software and website design facilities.
With fine weather and a fair wind, the “voyage” from Port Solent to Cowes on the Isle of Wight took no time at all – or maybe that was due to the efforts of our latest crew who each took it in turns to have a go at helming the boat! Lunch at The Folly Inn on the River Medina was taken out on this well-known pub’s waterfront terrace, and all too soon it was time for the return journey back home.
It is all to easy to forget just how much fun there is to be had out on the water; as one of our guests said “I really enjoyed the day – it’s just a shame we can’t do our work everyday from the cockpit of a nice yacht!”
