Another pearl of Tuscany is the little walled village of San Gimignano. Famous for its fascinating medieval architecture and towers that rise above of all the other buildings offering an impressive view of the city from the surrounding valley. The most convenient way to get to the historical town of Siena is either by car or bus. The journey will take about 1-1.5 hours.
