Mercury Yacht Harbour is one of the three MDL marinas in Hamble, Southampton.

It’s a lovely marina with a distinct family feeling. Originally built by Sir Robin Knox Johnson, Mercury has 360 berths.

On-site there is the Gaff Rigger restaurant and bar, offering really lovely food and drinks with a birds-eye view of the marina.

The closest village is Hamble Le Rice, a 5-minute drive or a 20-minute walk from Mercury Yacht Harbour. The village has a convenience shop, hairdressers, beauty salons, gift shops and a wide variety of popular bars and restaurants.

Location and travel information

Mercury Yacht Harbour is a 10-minute drive from J8 of the M27. The M27 offers east connects to both the M3 and the A3. It is also a 20-minute drive from Southampton airport – SOU.

If travelling in by train, the closest mainline station is next to the airport, Southampton Airport Parkway train station which has a regular service to London Waterloo. There is a small train station in Hamble, a 5-minute drive/ taxi away from Mercury Yacht Harbour.
