Dating back to 1840 this quaint seaside cottage use to home to the old coast guards. Just around the corner from Felpham seafront you can be at the water's edge within minutes. Here you will also find a local favourite restaurant 'The Lobster Pot Café'

Decorated to suite its quintessential British feel this charming cottage makes the perfect base for a family or group of friends to holiday and explore our beautiful area. Upon entering the first front gate you find yourself in a large private courtyard perfect for sitting out or dining out all year around.

The delicately decorated kitchen has an abundance of pots, pans and all the usual kitchen paraphernalia you will need to effectively self-cater during your stay. There is a washing machine, cooker, hob, toaster, microwave, kettle, fridge and freezer.

The large comfortable living room is cosy on a winters evening with a large widescreen television to enjoy a film after a day of adventure. Through the nearby door and you are into the adjoining conservatory which can be opened up fully to enjoy the sea air from the back garden. Here you can set up the large dining table and dine inside or as if you are out!

Coastguard Cottage has three comfortably designed bedrooms, two good-sized double rooms, one with a television and one cute snug style single room.

There is one family shower room with modern furnishings. Wifi is included. Dogs are permitted but not upstairs please. Plenty of roadside parking can be found a little further along.

Felpham is a friendly village with a warm community spirit, as well as its clean beach, there are pubs, shops, post office and restaurants. Felpham beach is popular in the summer, with beach huts nearby and a cafe for some refreshment. The Butlins holiday resort is within an easy walk along the seafront promenade and day visitors are more than welcome. Walk a little further along the seafront and you will find the traditional seaside resort town of Bognor Regis which has its own pier and a good selection of shops, cafes and restaurants.

A little further afield are the historic cathedral cities of Chichester and Arundel. Both offer a wealth of interesting shops, bars, cafes and restaurants, as well as some historic sight-seeing and cultural attractions. The larger cities of Portsmouth and Brighton are also within easy driving distance or a train ride along the coast. Portsmouth is perhaps most famous for being home to the Royal Navy, whereas Brighton has the famous Royal Pavilion and a huge selection of independent shops. London is also within reach by train, with a direct service from Bognor Regis to London Victoria
