Description

This is a delightfully spacious Detached Pine Holiday Lodge located in the Ogwen Bank Holiday Park & Country Club on the outskirts of Bethesda, bordering the Ogwen River and situated amongst some 12 Acres of mature woodland - a very attractive setting just inside the Snowdonia National Park. The lodge comes fully equipped and ready to go, private parking, is fully double glazed and benefits from gas central heating with a focal gas fire within the lounge. There's also a wide raised timber patio for your enjoyment. Owners have full use of the communal gardens and amenities available on site. This is an area renowned for its activity based holidays and this park in particular is well positioned for you to enjoy the natural beauty of Snowdonia, miles of stunning coastline and the Isle of Anglesey. The accommodation comprises: spacious Dining Lounge and Kitchen, 2 Bedrooms and Bathroom.

LOCATION The park is positioned on the outskirts of the quarry town of Bethesda, just inside the Snowdonia National Park and situated within mature woodland at the mouth of the picturesque Nant Francon valley, leading to some of the impressive higher mountain peaks. The park runs adjacent to the River Ogwen with an excellent footpath/cycle route located on the far side of the river bank, allowing for easy connections between the park, Snowdonia and the city of Bangor. Nearby Bethesda offers a good range of amenities and services including numerous leisure facilities of a leisure centre, rugby, football, cricket and bowls clubs as well as numerous cafés and public houses. There is also an extensive modern health centre. Adjacent to the park is the now infamous and hugely exciting Zip Wire attraction - the longest in Europe situated high in the adjoining slate quarry. The university city of Bangor, roughly 5 miles distant, offers a wide range of High Street shops, services and recreational facilities and a District General Hospital. The nearby A55 Expressway is the main arterial road between Chester and Holyhead and leads to the numerous attractions off the northern coastline, the Isle of Anglesey, including Ireland.
