What We Think at the Zoe Napier Group
This superb property has all of the ingredients that makes a fabulous all-rounder. Situated in a great position for Bradwell on Sea, the house has a good sized driveway with ample parking for numerous cars. The house itself has a good size reception room along with a recently re-fitted kitchen and bathroom, whilst upstairs there are three bedrooms. The house sits on a plot that measures about two and half acres with a four stable block and a recently constructed detached annexe and a home office. The property as a whole is perfect for multi-generational living in a setting that is a real delight. Ideal for coastal enthusiasts with the marina and Yacht club close by.
What the Owners Say
We purchased the property 12 years ago and have under taken an extensive renovation programme, as well as constructing a self-contained annexe and the stable block, which has given us the benefit of having our horses on site with us. We have loved every minute of living in such a tranquil and peaceful location, surrounded by wonderful open countryside and we will be leaving with a heavy heart but the time has come to move onto pastures new.
History & Background
Situated on the outskirts of Bradwell on Sea with a back drop towards the River Blackwater is this attractive red brick Victorian property. Located on an overall plot of 2.45 acres (stls) which includes a four box stable block with corral, three separate post and rail paddocks, turn out paddocks and riding paddock. The house comprises three bedrooms, re fitted bathroom, open plan living room/ dining room and re fitted kitchen which has all been improved considerably by the current owner. Within the village there are ideal opportunities for sailing and water sports enthusiasts, country walks and hacking. Viewing is advised in order to appreciate the standard of equestrian facilities on offer.
We understand that planning approval was previously obtained for the erection of a two storey side extension with accommodation including an extra bedroom and en suite to the first floor and open plan kitchen/diner to the ground floor. This has now lapsed but should be reasonably straight forward to renew. Full plans and information relating to the application can be found on Maldon District Council's website using reference: 17/00283/HOUSE.
