The Southampton International Boat Show is one of the most prestigious events in the maritime calendar. Held each September, it is a truly international showcase that attracts visitors not only from across the UK but also from overseas. Over a 10-day period, the Show welcomes around 100,000 people who come to experience the latest in boating, marine equipment, and waterfront living.

For Waterside Properties, the Boat Show has long been a key date in our diary. We are proud to have exhibited at the Show for over 35 years, making us one of its most established participants. Our continued presence reflects the unique opportunity the event gives us: the chance to meet new people face-to-face and introduce them to the lifestyle that comes with owning a home by the water.  This year we have stand number H412.

While digital platforms and conventional marketing have their place, nothing compares to the energy and personal connections that come from meeting people in person at Southampton. This year, the show returns with a bold, reimagined layout and themed zones that make exploring easier and more immersive than ever:

• New Entrance & Layout: A refreshed layout and entrance via Mayflower Park enhance visitor flow and exhibitor visibility.
• Themed Experience Zones:
  • The Boating Academy—Expert-led talks and demos for all skill levels.
  • The Power hub & Angler’s Alley—Focused zones for powerboats, RIBs, and fishing gear.
  • On-The-Water Stage—High-energy demos like jet ski stunts and watercraft showcases.
  • The Shipyard—Music, family fun, food, and headline entertainment.
  • Water sports & Try-a-Boat Zones—Paddleboarding, kayaking, SUP yoga, dinghy and powerboat trials, even accessible sessions via Wetwheels.
• Show Marina: Over 300 boats on display in a dedicated marina zone that groups similar vessels to aid comparison.
• Discovery Deck & Innovation Awards: Highlighting new marine tech and sustainable products with eco recognition.

  • 19–27 Sept: 10:00 am–6:00 pm (Trade entry from 9:30 am, Mon–Thu)
  • 28 Sept (Sunday): 9:30 am–4:30 pm
• Tickets: Starting around £24.99–£29 for adults. Discounts are available for concessions and children often go free with adult tickets.
• VIP Experience: The Quayside Club offers private lounges, drinks, fine food, and waterfront views.
