• Southbourne & Surrounding Areas, Dorset

It’s clear to see why Southbourne has become such a desirable place to live with the diverse variety of activities available in and around this stretch of the Dorset coastline. There is everything you could wish for, with so much to keep you occupied and entertained.

  • Activities in and around Southbourne

Southbourne is a relaxed, but still bustling suburb just East of Bournemouth and 5 minutes drive to Christchurch. Southbourne’s primary attraction is its sandy Blue Flag beach, which provides a quieter retreat from the more crowded beach along the coast at Bournemouth.

Christchurch’s unique location at the confluence of the rivers Stour and Avon and on the shores of its own spectacular natural harbour makes it the perfect destination to relax and unwind. Close to the magnificent Dorset World Heritage Coast and the tranquil New Forest National Park, Christchurch is only a short drive from Bournemouth and Poole.

Boscombe is a suburb of Bournemouth. Historically part of Hampshire, it is located to the east of Bournemouth town centre and west of Southbourne. It developed rapidly from a small village, to a seaside resort after the first Boscombe pier was opened in 1889. Fantastic sandy beach running from Hengistbury Head to Poole. Since the in-depth regeneration program for Boscombe Spa, the seafront has transformed into a “mini-California” with a great safe beach vibe in the Summer, and several contemporary restaurants which many travel to from outside the area.

  • Events

Bournemouth and Poole is full of top events that should not be missed – and because it’s such a popular holiday destination, there is always something going on!

Petrolheads will love the weekly bike and car shows on Poole Quay, families will enjoy the weekly parties of Summer Breeze, and everyone will just love the buzz of the live music. And of course lets not forget the thrilling and free Bournemouth Air Show and Wheels Festival, the regular firework displays and the enchanting candlelight nights!

  • Transport Links

The area is served by excellent transport links. Bournemouth International Airport is close by, and Poole mainline station offers direct services to Bournemouth, Southampton, Winchester and London Waterloo. The Twin Sails Bridge is planned for completion and will provide increased transport links to and from the town – a new unique landmark for Poole.

We are committed to providing a professional service to all our clients and customers.  When something goes wrong, we need you to tell us about it.  This will help us to improve our standards.

If you have a complaint, please put it in writing, including as much detail as possible.  We will then respond in line with the timeframes set out below (if you feel we have not sought to address your complaints within eight weeks, you may be able to refer your complaint to the Property Ombudsman to consider without our final viewpoint on the matter).

    What will happen next?

    • We will send you a letter acknowledging receipt of you complaint within three working days of receiving it, enclosing a copy of this procedure.
    • We will then investigate your complaint. This will normally be dealt with by the office manager who will review your file and speak to the member of staff who dealt with you.  A formal written outcome of our investigation will be sent to you within fifteen working days of sending the acknowledgement letter.
    • If, at this stage, you are still not satisfied, you should contact us again and we will arrange for a separate review to take place by a senior member of staff.
    • We will write to you within fifteen working days of receiving your request for a review, confirming our final viewpoint on the matter.
